I’m assuming the asterisk beside Andrew and Thomas denotes a family relationship.

The John Elder of Rusky,
above, is my 4th great grand father. Thanks so much for this posting. My cousin never did find this Presbyterian church…but we had so little time in Aghadowey and didn’t really know our family was from there when we stopped by the Church of Ireland; we only knew from our time in Ballymoney that James Elder , son of this John and brother to my John, was born in Aghadowey, gleaned from the Finvoy Presbyterian church’s historical book which they presented to us while we were there and attended their Sunday services. They were wonderful to us, taking us into the Elder’s meeting room and allowing me to take pictures of the portraits of James on their walls.
Now I need to find the will of John…will try Ancestry. Thanks!
